Dr. Trig Johnson is visiting the UA Philosophy Department for academic year 2018-2019. Educated at Oxford University, the University of Gloucestershire and the University of Virginia, Dr. Johnson has taught approximately 40 courses at eight universities and colleges. An extremely versatile teacher, he has held full-time lectureships in both philosophy and religious studies, as well as multiple positions in general humanities.

Liberal Arts-Relate Activities: A musician and songwriter from a distinguished musical lineage, he has performed at events with several bands, including Grammy-winners such as the B-52’s, Suzanne Vega, Dave Matthews and Radiohead.

His first love is baseball.
