Dr. Erasmus specializes in general philosophy of science and philosophy of medicine. His research focuses on conceptual and methodological questions about medical inference, and the intersection of values and epistemic concerns in medical artificial intelligence. He teaches in the department’s Philosophy & Medicine Track and at the McCollough Institute for Pre-Medical Scholars.
